Have a new studio space to work in now, finally have the area to stretch out and work on multiple projects at once. With a little over 500 square feet of comfortable, well lit and cozy space to work I am amazed at how much better I can focus on the work rather than rearranging to make room.
Lots of portrait work this summer, which is a nice challenge and fun to do. Starting to realize I need a lot of work on my photography skills, or lack thereof, as I have been letting a lot of work go without being photographed first. Could be a mid year's resolution to work on this.
You never know for sure what is coming in for paint. This time a small model motorcycle for a complete repaint. All House of Kolor for this job, and the small size did not minimize the job by a whole lot, other than material volume. Full catalyzed primer, metallic sealer through the Platinum Pearl base and Purple Kandy Koncentrate and tribal graphics with UC35 clear. Small size but a fun job.
